LG Soundbar with Subwoofer 600W 4.1CH (SH5A)

The LG SH5A 600W 4.1CH Soundbar with Subwoofer is designed to deliver powerful, room-filling audio for movies, television, music, sports, and gaming. With 600W of total output power and a 4.1-channel configuration, the SH5A provides a substantial upgrade over the built-in speakers found on most televisions.

The system combines a main soundbar with a dedicated subwoofer to produce a fuller audio experience with stronger low-frequency performance. LG’s AI Sound Pro, Clear Voice Pro, Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround technologies help tailor sound for different types of entertainment while improving clarity and immersion.

600W Powerful Audio Output

With 600W of output power, the LG SH5A is built for powerful audio performance in living rooms and entertainment spaces. The high output gives movies, television programmes, music, sports broadcasts, and games greater presence compared with typical TV speakers.

Dedicated Wireless Subwoofer

The included subwoofer adds dedicated low-frequency performance to the system, helping provide deeper and more impactful bass for action movies, music, sports, and other entertainment.

The separate subwoofer also allows the main soundbar to focus on delivering the primary audio while the low-frequency channel adds depth to the overall sound presentation.

4.1-Channel Sound System

The 4.1-channel architecture provides a more expansive sound presentation than a conventional two-channel television speaker system. With five speakers incorporated into the system, the SH5A is designed to create a wider audio experience around the listener.

AI Sound Pro

AI Sound Pro automatically analyses the type of content being played and adjusts the sound accordingly. The SH5A supports multiple sound modes including Standard, Cinema, Music, Sports, Game and Bass Blast/Bass Blast+.

This allows the soundbar to be adapted to different entertainment needs. You can use Cinema mode for movies, Music mode for songs, Sports mode for broadcasts, or Game mode when enjoying compatible gaming content.

Clear Voice Pro

The Clear Voice Pro feature is designed to improve voice clarity, making dialogue easier to hear during television programmes and movies. This can be particularly useful when scenes contain background music or sound effects.

By giving greater emphasis to vocal clarity, the SH5A helps make spoken content easier to follow without relying solely on the television’s built-in speakers.

Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround

These audio technologies help create a more immersive presentation for compatible movies, television content, and other entertainment. LG’s East Africa catalogue also lists Dolby Atmos alongside DTS Digital Surround for the SH5A, while the detailed specifications identify Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround support.

WOW Orchestra

With compatible LG TVs, WOW Orchestra allows the TV speakers and soundbar to work together to create a broader sound field. Instead of relying exclusively on the soundbar, compatible LG television audio can work alongside the SH5A system.

This provides an additional way to integrate the soundbar into an LG home entertainment setup. Compatibility can vary depending on the LG TV model and software version.

WOW Interface

The WOW Interface provides convenient control of compatible soundbar functions through supported LG TVs. This helps create a more integrated television and soundbar experience without requiring users to constantly switch between different control methods.

Bluetooth 5.3 Connectivity

The SH5A features Bluetooth 5.3, allowing compatible devices to connect wirelessly to the soundbar. This makes it possible to enjoy music and other compatible audio content without requiring a physical audio cable between the source device and soundbar.

Bluetooth connectivity makes the system useful beyond television viewing. A compatible smartphone, tablet, computer, or other Bluetooth-enabled device can be used as an audio source.

HDMI ARC and Optical Connectivity

The LG SH5A includes HDMI ARC, providing a convenient way to connect the soundbar to a compatible television. It also features an optical audio input, giving users another connection option for compatible TVs and devices.

The system also includes USB connectivity, providing additional flexibility for compatible audio playback. LG lists one HDMI output, one optical connection and one USB port.

Multiple Sound Modes

The SH5A offers a selection of dedicated sound modes designed for different types of content. These include Standard, Cinema, Music, Sports, Game, Bass Blast/Bass Blast+ and AI Sound Pro.

Having multiple sound modes allows users to adjust the character of the audio according to what they are watching or listening to, giving the system greater versatility for everyday entertainment.

Sleek Home Entertainment Design

The main soundbar measures approximately 990 × 97 × 125 mm, while the subwoofer measures approximately 191 × 386 × 318 mm. The dimensions provide a substantial soundbar presence while allowing it to sit beneath a compatible television.
